Dr. Pai-Yen Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA (start date: August 2018). Currently, Dr. Chen’s lab has open positions for PhD students (graduate research assistantship) and visiting scholars starting from 2018 Fall semester. His research mainly focuses on applied
electromagnetics, RF/microwave electronics, antennas, micro/nano-sensors for RFID and
internet-of-things (IoTs) applications, as well as nano-electromagnetism, including plasmonics
